Description
Adverse weather events (e.g., cold, drought, heat and water logging) cause
‘oxidative stress’ and damage in turf grasses. SuperFifty® Prime is proven to eliminate oxidative stress in plants including turf grasses. The process involves application of SuperFifty® Prime 3-5 days prior to an adverse weather event. It inhibits oxidative stress through a mechanism known as ‘Priming’ which induces gene modulation and a series of physiological changes in grass species.
Priming with SuperFifty® Prime will help turf to withstand stressful periods. Regular applications of SuperFifty® Prime reduces stress build up on all sports turf due to abiotic stresses including adverse climatic conditions, soil compaction, acid or alkaline soil, wilt / drought, mechanical wear and poor drainage. SuperFifty® Prime is a highly concentrated Ascophyllum nodosum extract (50% w/v).
Tees and Greens:
Apply 2-3L/Ha in 300-500L of water every 14 days. Forecast and apply SuperFifty® Prime 3-5 days before anticipated stress.
